Thirdly, the charter requires all people of the universe to create an egalitarian or free society characterized by impartiality, involvement of all individuals, and tranquility. Fourthly, people are required to safeguard or protect availabl e resources in order to benefit them as well as future generations (Wenden 191). Subsequently, the fifth to eighth principles touches on environmental sustainability. The fifth principle is to safeguard and reinstate the veracity of the environment through adopting appropriate systems for sustainable development.
